Dear Parents,
Assalamualaikum. Welcome to the 2023 School year. I hope you and your children are enjoying a pleasant winter break after the Final examination and assignment submission. 2020 and 2021 have been unprecedented years with Covid-19 and something that brought forward challenges for almost all of us. So many people lost their lives, couldn't see their loved ones, spent days in isolation but most importantly, came together to struggle with the virus as one. InshaAllah,we will overcome all our sufferings and losses in this coming year of 2023!!

Although this year looks different than any other year, we are dedicated to providing your child (ren) a memorable, interactive, engaging distance learning experience through vigorous and fruitful classes. We have successfully completed 2022 school year. We committed both the ways virtually and face to face (Blended learning) with our dedicated teaching team and school authority as well as your continuous support and cooperation.

I also hope our beloved students are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year right now. I am very excited being passed successful 24 years of Chittagong Ideal High School and to begin our 25th years together as we work in partnership to ensure every student of Chittagong Ideal High School is actively engaged in a rigorous learning experience while developing social -emotional skills that will enhance perseverance, empathy and the ability to collaborate.

I am happy that you have chosen CIHS for schooling of your beloved child (ren). CIHS is promised and committed to do its level best and contribute a lot to the progress and success of your valuable child (ren). I am so delighted that you are the part of our amazing learning community. I always welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education. I look forward to working with you and your children and boldly face the challenges of the new normal post pandemic situation.

If you look back at last few years, you may have noticed that we did many positive changes, took so many steps for development of teaching-learning and enhancing academic achievement of the students. We appointed “Mentors” for each and every subject who are highly qualified, skilled, experienced and expert in their respective subjects. They give leadership, monitor, provide guidance, support and share knowledge to the teacher who needs help face to face and virtually. The mentors are also support and give guidance to help school students who are experiencing difficulties in learning due to social -emotional or behavioral problems, Blended learning cooperation and overcome these problems that are affecting their learning.

In today’s world, socio-emotional behavior of adolescent is gradually changing. To guide the problem students and to solve the behavioral problems of the students we formed a “Discipline Committee” on behalf of the school management and this year we reinforce the “Discipline Committee” with more efficient and smart people. Mental health of the children and students are the hidden crisis which are affecting so many students around the globe. We trained our teachers about mental health, cyber bullying and adolescence crime which affected their learning earnestly.

Hopefully in the year of 2023 we will give your children the most interactive, engaging face to face classes with some online activities. We strictly follow the chronological evaluation test. We will start virtual library and e-book reading through our website so that our student could happily enjoy reading books and enrich their mind and soul.

In the previous few years just before Annual Examination, we took several special Tests on prescribed syllabus for the perfection of study and skills and we got some rewarding results from this. Most of our students gradually did exceptionally great results in the Tests. During the 2022 school year, we have successfully completed all subjects’ assignments, project-works of the students according to syllabus and government prescribed criteria and we noticed the rewarding results of our students’ potentials. We introduced “Project and Assignment based Learning” for new school year 2021 and its going on. We are hoping these methods of learning will be attractive and effective to attract and stick to our beloved students in the classes and they will do better get hands on practical knowledge and excellence in their studies.

For the post pandemic educational situation, installation of additional surveillance cameras is added to better monitoring of teaching – learning and ingress and regress. We already installed interior and exterior cameras enhancing our ability to record who is on our campus at all times. A construction project was completed that will establish our new Auditorium and another Elevator for the students. We also interiorly decorated/renovated and gave a new look to our Library, Science Lab, Audio-visual Room, Computer Lab, Multimedia Room, Spoken English Lab and so on. We appointed full time nurses for the first aid of the students.

However, we are all eagerly waiting for another incredible, productive and challenging school year of 2023. Our skilled teachers and devoted staffs are planning and preparing for your child’s (ren) educational matters and ICT skills for the classes. Our “Teacher Refresher and Orientation courses” are currently in progress. Lesson Scheme, Lesson planning for new school year is also ongoing. Our enthusiastic office team is registering new students, ordering needed materials and updating students’ files.

Dear parents, we would like to build a bridge among “Parents, students and teachers.” We need your kind cooperation and continuous participation. Always be touched with our “Online Messenger Groups” which are designated individually for each and every class and section. It is intended to help students build organizational skills and it is a great way to take responsibility for their learning and best way to assist in communication among parent, teachers and school authority. Encourage your child (ren) to attend classes regularly with school-uniform, mentally sound and nourished, because “Attendance is the key to success.” The attendance rate is important because students are more likely to succeed in academics when they attend the classes consistently and regularly.

Finally, all of our teachers, staffs are working hard to make school a positive experience for all students. Chittagong Ideal High School is eagerly looking forward to enriching your child’s life. Thank you to all, I encourage you to participate and take an active role in your child’s education. With your co-operation and continuous support, I am ensuring that “Chittagong Ideal High School” remains a celebrated and successful school is awe-inspiring. I eagerly look forward to greeting students and their family again. It’s a great honor and privilege for me as the Academic Director and Ideal High School Management Team to serve our respected parents and our future citizen. Together, I know we will make this school year of 2023 as one of growth and achievement for all children,
